Dentist Near triOS College Hamilton
For students and staff at triOS College’s Hamilton campus, dental care may need to fit around classes, placements and work. Excel Dental is at 49 East Avenue South, Hamilton, ON L8N 2T5, in Stinson near downtown. The current triOS Hamilton campus is at 20 Hughson Street South, Suite 800. The college and dental office are separate locations; Excel Dental is not a triOS campus clinic or an affiliated provider.
Use the current campus address to plan your route
When comparing dental offices with your class schedule, use the address where you actually study. An old campus address or a general “Hamilton” search can lead to an inconvenient plan. Check the journey between Hughson Street South and East Avenue South using your own transport and timing. This guide does not promise a particular walking or driving time.
Free parking is available behind Excel Dental. If you are arriving from class, a placement or your workplace, consider the whole trip and your next commitment. A nearby downtown office can be useful without every appointment fitting into a short break.
What to tell the office
- Describe why you need the appointment: routine care, an ongoing treatment plan or a particular concern.
- Give the times you can arrive and the latest time you need to leave.
- Mention changes in your schedule during placements or exam periods.
- Ask whether previous dental records or benefit information should be brought.
The office can explain how your visit should be booked. Do not assume the duration of an examination, cleaning or treatment from the name of the service alone. If your available window is too short, discuss a more suitable date rather than expecting the care to be rushed.
Office hours and confirmed bookings
Excel Dental is open Monday 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Thursday and Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. One Saturday per month is available; call to confirm which Saturday and whether there is an appointment. Later Tuesday and Wednesday hours may help some schedules, subject to availability.
The online appointment form allows you to state a preferred dentist and explain your request. Submitting it does not reserve a time. Wait for confirmation before arranging to leave class or work.
General dentistry with an individual dentist
Dr. Susan Pan and Dr. Cindy Li are general dentists at Excel Dental. Their individual profiles describe their different backgrounds. Dr. Li provides nitrous oxide for suitable patients; Dr. Pan does not. If you would like to discuss this option or are anxious about a visit, say so when contacting the office. The office must confirm suitability and arrangements.
