Why Excel Dental?

Did you know that if you are over the age of 30, there’s almost a one in two chance that you have periodontitis (more commonly known as gum disease). Some of the common signs of this are if your gums are swollen, red, tender, bleeding or receding, that’s a sign you may need periodontal intervention. Without it, you risk tooth loss and even infection to the bone and supporting tissues.

The sooner the condition is dealt with, the less intensive treatment will be the first step in treating gum disease is nonsurgical: scaling and root planning (SRP), where the plaque and tartar are removed from your teeth and root surfaces. If handled early on many times, no further treatment will be immediately required.

If you do need additional treatment, Excel Dental offers a wide range of periodontal options, from soft tissue, socket and bone grafts to pocket reduction, crown lengthening and regeneration. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and provide you with a strong feeling of comfort.
